During this time of uncertainty and looming change, what remains constant is the flow of creativity and curated taste. For this reason we've put together a list of four galleries that currently feature some amazing exhibitions. If you find yourself in Los Angeles, New York, Portland or Paris be sure to pay them a visit.

Los Angeles

Chateau Shatto

The DTLA exhibit opened by curators Olivia Barrett and Nelson Harman, has had one stellar exhibition after another since opening in 2014—and their latest show is no different. Parker Ito is a YIBA (Young Internet Based Artist) whose work mostly encompasses web-based imagery, paintings and installations. His current exhibition is live from the capital records b. --i am not a human i am a disgusting piece of shit.

406 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015

New York

David Zwirner Gallery

German expatriate David Zwirner mixes work from past movements with a ton of contemporary international artists. You can now see selected works from William Eggleston's The Democratic Forest. Known as the "father of colored photography," Eggleston's photos play with themes that go against the hierarchy in that no one subject of his is more important than another.

525 W 19th St, New York, NY 10011

Yale Union

Yale Union curates contemporary art that challenge what we expect to see in galleries—and the latest exhibition is no different. Lutz Bacher's Secret Garden includes only three huge pieces, but that doesn't mean the walls are barren. The minimalism of the large-scale pieces forces viewers to pay close attention to subtleties. Until December 10th, Secret Garden is your escape from reality.

800 SE 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97214

Paris

Air de Paris

Air de Paris is among the most famous contemporary art spaces in the world. Since it's founding in 1990, it has been home to established Allen Ruppersberg and has nurtured up-and-coming artists like Stephane Dafflon. Until January 7th, you can see I Am All Soul by Eliza Douglas— a series of stretched arms, legs and other body parts in brightly hued colors that is a light-hearted commentary on American humor.
