From the creative minds of Peggy Noland and Seth Bogart,  Wacky Wacko in Hollywood is your one stop shop for all things kitsch and colorful. The whole vibe of the aptly named store can be described as a trip to your local mall on LSD. The interior of the shop is a brightly painted, floor to ceiling illusion that shifts perspective of the space from every angle. Recognizable brands’ icons and logos are painted on the vibrant walls—a juxtaposition of reality against the surreal interior—paired with elements of satire. “Zara” is spelled out in the brand’s typical typography with the fictitious tagline “Amazing Original Ideas.” The commentary against unoriginal consumer culture is underscored by the shop’s highly unique offerings. More than just a shop, Wacky Wacko is an immersive art gallery. The decorated interior gives the feel of an installment with the hand-rendered designs from Seth Bogart and Peggy Noland on display as wearable works of art. Check out some pics of the shop below and head over to Sunset Blvd to experience the wackiness for yourself.
