In a stark white loft space masked by the mayhem of Hollywood and Highland are shelves of stunning artifacts found mixed in with lint and scrap paper. Regardless of each pieces' beauty, all that is put on display showcases the universal struggle of ending a relationship, reflecting on what can be learned from that relationship, and finally moving on. Los Angeles' new Museum of Broken Relationships is composed of objects donated anonymously from around the world paired with hilarious, vulnerable, and tragic stories.

Heartbreak has been a common focus for art throughout the ages, but what about the artistry in every day items? Something as seemingly mundane as a paperweight on your co-worker's desk might hold deep secrets.

After you've taken it all in, feel free to donate your own story with a pen and paper underneath the staircase.
