Sorting through the endless racks at a Los Angeles vintage store can be tiresome, but picking which store to venture to could sideline even the most devoted shoppers. With a client list including Tove Lo and Die Antwoord, LA-based stylists Annie & Hannah know how to break convention and set trends. That's why we asked the duo to share their top destinations to discover the vintage pieces you've been dreaming of.

Painted Bird

4208 Santa Monica BLVD. Los Angeles, CA 90029

The '90s are back and this Silver Lake shop has no shortage of fun finds from the decade of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. These pieces also happen to be a bargain with mini dresses for under $25 and vintage Levi's jeans for under $40.  "We are really partial to their jewelry selection. We recently brought this really rad ring with a man and a woman doing dirty things," Annie & Hannah revealed.

The Way We Wore

334 S. La BREA AVE. Los ANGELES, CA 90036

Sometimes you just have to treat yourself, as indicated by the golden ceilings and crystal chandeliers of What We Wore—one of the best spots for vintage designer finds. Chanel, Moschino, and Prada are just a few iconic labels that line their walls in West Hollywood. For those on a budget, there is an entire floor devoted to more affordable swimwear and accessories. Our pair of experts say, "This store is all ages, all bodies, all tastes. There's something in here for everyone and how often can you say that?"

Mister Freedom

7161 Beverly Blvd. Los angeles, CA 90036

This mid-city haven is giving us major all-American vibes.  The warehouse has enough denim, corduroy, stripes, and boots, to leave shoppers browsing for hours. Americana memorabilia, like canteens and books, can also be found mixed in with the garb. "This is for someone who doesn't believe in boundaries. It's especially great for men," Annie & Hannah vow.
